Disable Windows Firewall / Windows Defender

Windows Firewall and Windows defender can cause a bunch of issues blocking games and just using unnecessary memory in the background.  Disabling these services can help lower end computers and people who experience issues due to these services.  The truth is, there are better firewalls out there you can chose from and really you shouldn't need a firewall if you're a good boy :)

I will show you how to disable windows firewall and windows defender in less than 3 minutes.

1.  Open Task Manager (control+alt+delete) and Click the services tab at the top right

**Note:  If you don't see services tab, click more details on the bottom left

2.  Right Click any service and click Open Services

3.  Locate Windows Defender Service and Windows Firewall

**Note: You can sort services alphabetically by clicking name

4.  Right Click Windows Defender Service and then click Properties.  Stop Service, Change drop down box to disabled, click apply then ok.

5.  Right click Windows Firewall and then click Properties.  Stop Service, Change drop down box to disabled, click apply then ok.

That's it!  I hope this guide was helpful and helps your computer and games run better!
